Not at all! We welcome everyone — even if you’re not a business major, as long as you’re passionate about energy and equities. We’ll guide you through everything step by step, from financial basics to building your first stock pitch.

You’ll join a small group of peers to research a real energy-related company, learn how to analyze its performance, and help build a presentation recommending whether to invest. You’ll present your findings to the full club at the end of the semester!

We focus on energy-sector companies — from electric vehicle startups to solar panel manufacturers to big players like Rivian or NextEra Energy. Each team picks a company that interests them most.

Expect around 1 hour per week for team meetings and 2 hours for independent research. We’re flexible in working around your schedule; what matters more is consistent effort, commitment and communication.
